Instrumental Department

The TAFA Instrumental Department develops young musicians through extensive classical training in a variety of premier ensembles.
Each of our upper-level ensembles perform professional-level orchestral repertoire by classic composers. Our students develop to perform repertoire that is above the level of most instrumentalists in their age category, both in difficulty, maturity and scope. We strive
to encourage musical excellence in a professional and supportive Christian environment. We focus on more than the student’s artistic
development placing an emphasis on character development in the areas of leadership, self-discipline, and confidence.

A fun and creative interactive parent/young-child class utilizing Musikgarten curriculum which provides lifetime foundational music education through song and movement. Through the activities in the class children develop a deep love of music and the ability to express themselves through music. Students learn elements of music which develop and lay a foundation of ear training, pitch recognition, vocalization, and rhythm basics.

Primary Music

Primary music will be an exciting combination of singing, dancing, and musical game playing toward the goal of learning music fluently.
